The end of Summer –

Apple picking? Usually, we buy apples at the supermarket. How about going on a trip to an orchard and pick some apples for a change? Better yet, apple picking with friends could be a great time to have fun, socialize and learn about Canadian orchards.

On September 19, Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization – OCISO – organized a bus trip for Ottawa Senior Immigrants to visit Log Cabin Orchard.

Below are some apple picking ideas to keep the conversation going. You can print them and cut them into cards. Ready double-sided cards size 2.5 x 3.5 inch will be available for sale soon.
